The Wollongong Running Festival will return to the city’s spectacular coastline on Sunday 6 June 2027, following another highly successful event that attracted runners, families and supporters from across the region and beyond.
Recognised as one of the coast’s premier community sporting events, the festival will once again bring thousands of participants together to experience Wollongong’s iconic ocean views, vibrant atmosphere and welcoming running community.
The 2027 festival will continue to offer a range of distances designed for all ages and abilities, including the Half Marathon, 10km, 5km and Kids 2km Fun Run.
Race Hub Australia say the overwhelming response to the 2026 event highlighted the growing popularity of the festival and Wollongong’s reputation as a destination for major participation events.
