The Run Havoc Wollongong Running Festival returns bigger than ever in 2026!
Presented by Run Havoc as Principal Partner – runners across the country are gearing up as the Wollongong Running Festival prepares to return in less than eight weeks, promising another unforgettable celebration of fitness, community, and coastal scenery.
Following a record-breaking 2025 event that attracted nearly 3,000 runners, Race Hub Australia are preparing for even stronger numbers as registrations continue to build eight weeks out from race day.
Participants will be able to choose from four distances, catering to all ages and abilities: the Half Marathon, Community Bank 10km, 5km Fun Run (dedicated to Mark Scott), and the Kids 2km Fun Run.
The event will once again feature fully closed roads, allowing runners uninterrupted access to some of Wollongong’s most scenic routes, including Marine Drive, Cliff Road and Endeavour Drive. The course highlights key landmarks such as the Blue Mile and Flagstaff Hill Lighthouse, showcasing the region to both local and visiting participants.
The Lang Park event precinct will again host food vendors, local exhibitors and live entertainment, providing a central hub for runners and spectators throughout the morning.
Close to 100 volunteers are expected to assist on race day, supporting course operations, water stations and participant safety.
Registrations are open, with Race Hub Australia encouraging sign-ups as the event continues to grow in popularity across New South Wales
