The Mark Scott 5km event is dedicated to the 2011 Wollongong Running Festival winner Mark Scott who suffered a serious cycling accident in June 2011. This event welcomes runners and walkers.

| Prizes | All 5km finishers will receive a Wollongong Running Festival Finisher Medal. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and female across the finish line. |
